The gap

You’ve read about AI for two years. Nothing has changed on your Tuesday.

Seven days. Twenty minutes a day. By Sunday you have a working system that gives hours back — using free accounts, without writing a line of code.

The advice you’ve been given is either a demo of something you’ll never use, or a list of forty tools you’ll never open. Neither one tells you what to do at nine on Monday morning.

What’s missing isn’t information. Information is free. What’s missing is the order — which thing first, what to ignore, and what a good result actually looks like when you see one.

That’s the whole of this book: a path through one week, one action a day, on accounts you already have or can open for nothing.

What’s inside

Seven days. One action each.

Each day: a short read, one exercise you do on a free account, a worked example of what good looks like, and the three ways it goes wrong.

1

Get oriented — and get one win today

The repeat list, and one real task done on a free account

2

Set up your assistant properly

One tool chosen and configured so it stops giving generic answers

3

Prompts that produce work

A reusable prompt for their most-repeated task

4

Email and admin

Their first genuine hours back

5

Documents, data and the pile you’ve been avoiding

An answer out of a file they’d never have read

6

Agents: work that happens without you

An honest picture of agents, and the free manual version

7

Make it stick — and keep it safe

A 30-day plan, data rules, and what to do when tools change

Plus Appendix A — how to check any AI claim, including the ones in this book, and the three places these tools contradict their own documentation.

Questions

Before you buy.

Do I need to pay for an AI subscription to do this?

No. The whole week is built to be completed on free accounts. Day 6 is the honest exception, and it gives you a free manual version that teaches the same judgement.

I’m not technical at all. Is this still for me?

That is exactly who it was written for. There is no code anywhere in it. Every step names the actual button to click.

How long does each day really take?

The exercise takes about twenty minutes. Reading the day adds ten to twenty more. It’s seven days, but nothing breaks if you spread it over three weeks.

What format is it?

PDFs, plus plain-text files for anything you’ll want to copy and paste. No app, no login, no platform to learn.

Can I see some of it before I buy?

Yes. Day 1 is free and it’s the complete first day, not a sample. It’s thirteen pages and it ends with one real task done. Take it, and decide after.

Which one should I buy?

Take The Playbook if you want the course. Take the Toolkit if you’d rather have the prompt libraries and the ready-made set-ups from day one.

Will this go out of date?

Parts of it will, and the book says so. Tool prices and feature names change constantly. Every fact of that kind is collected in one dated appendix, with instructions for checking it yourself. The method doesn’t depend on them.

What is the refund policy?

Because this is a digital product delivered immediately, sales are final once the files are delivered. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If a file is missing or will not open, contact us and we’ll make the delivery right. Your rights under applicable consumer law still apply.

Who wrote it, and is it AI-generated?

Written and edited by a person, with AI used as a tool in the process, and disclosed in the book’s front matter. There is no claimed qualification, no fake team, and no fabricated case study in it.
