Terms of sale and use

Edition 1  ·  Last updated August 2026

1. Who we are

The Usable AI Playbook is sold by Enrique Rivas Creel, of 969 Beachview Drive, North Vancouver, British Columbia V7G 1P8, Canada.

You can reach us at hello@norvane.ca. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that business, and "you" means the person buying or using the course.

By buying or using the course, you agree to these terms.

2. What you're buying

You are buying a digital educational product — a PDF course delivered by email, plus the additional digital files listed for your plan at the time of purchase.

You are not buying software, a subscription, a licence to any third-party tool, ongoing support, consulting, coaching, or any service performed by us.

3. This is a finished product, and there are no updates

What you buy is Edition 1, August 2026 — complete, delivered once, and yours permanently. We do not promise future editions, revisions, corrections, added material, or notifications when the tools described change. We are not offering a subscription, a membership, ongoing support, coaching, or a service of any kind.

The product will age, and we say so up front. The AI tools described in the course change constantly. Prices, plan names and features stated in it were checked in August 2026 and will become out of date. Every fact of that kind is collected in Appendix A, dated, together with instructions for checking current details yourself. The method the course teaches does not depend on those details.

You are buying the edition in front of you, as it is, on the date you buy it. Read the free Day 1 before deciding. Once the purchased files are delivered, the final-sale policy in section 6 applies.

4. Delivery

Delivery is by email to the address you provide at checkout, automatically after payment. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then contact us and we will send it again.

Day 1 of the course is provided free on request, by email, and the same applies to it.

5. Your licence

The course is for you and your own business. You may print it and store your own copies. You may not resell it, republish it, share it publicly, or distribute it to people outside your business.

6. Refunds

Digital product; sales are final once delivered. We do not offer refunds because you change your mind, decide not to use the product, or finish using it.

If any file is missing, damaged, or will not open, email hello@norvane.ca and we will correct the delivery problem or provide a working replacement.

Nothing in these terms excludes a refund, cancellation, or other remedy that applicable consumer protection law requires.

7. Disclaimer

The Usable AI Playbook is an educational product. It explains how certain third-party artificial-intelligence tools work and suggests ways a business might use them. It is a guide and a starting point — nothing more.

We are a helper, not a decision-maker. Every decision you make after reading it — which tools to use, what to spend, what to automate, what to send to a customer, what to rely on — is your decision and your responsibility. You know your business, your obligations, your customers and your risk tolerance. We do not.

AI tools make mistakes, and they sound confident while making them. The tools described routinely produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or entirely invented, in the same fluent and assured tone they use when correct. You must independently verify anything that matters before you act on it, send it, publish it, or file it.

We do not guarantee any result. We make no promise about time saved, money earned, money saved, efficiency gained, or any other outcome. Results depend on your business, your effort, your judgement, and factors entirely outside our control. Any figures or examples in the course are illustrations of how something might work — not predictions, not typical results, and not promises.

8. Money you spend on other people's tools

The course refers to third-party paid services — among them Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). Some features we describe are only available on paid plans, and we say so clearly wherever that is the case.

Those subscriptions are yours, not ours.

We earn nothing from your upgrades. We are not affiliates of, partners with, or sponsored by any tool in the course. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the same page as the recommendation — not hidden in a footer.

9. Not professional advice

The course is not legal, accounting, tax, financial, investment, medical, employment, privacy-compliance, or other professional advice, and does not create any professional or advisory relationship between us.

Where it touches areas like contracts, invoicing, financial records, employment, or handling personal information, it is describing how a software tool behaves — not advising you on your obligations. Your obligations depend on your jurisdiction, your industry, and your circumstances.

Consult a qualified professional before acting in any of these areas. In particular, do not use AI-generated output as your only basis for a legal document, a tax filing, a financial decision, an employment decision, or anything you are legally required to get right.

10. AI disclosure

Marco — the presenter in our videos and the face of the course — is an AI-generated character. He is not a real person, the videos are synthetically produced, and no claim is made that he has personally run a business or achieved any result.

Parts of the course were written with AI assistance. Every factual claim, price and recommendation has been reviewed by a human before publication, and every linked video has been opened and checked. Where we state a price or a product detail, we also state the date we checked it.

We tell you this because a course about using AI honestly should be honest about using AI.

11. Trademarks and linked videos

Claude, Claude Code and Claude Cowork are products of Anthropic. ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI. All other product names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any of these companies. References to their products are for identification and description only.

Videos linked from the course are hosted on YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators. We link to them; we do not host, copy, download, re-upload or modify them. They remain free to watch on their creators' own channels, and the creators receive every view. Linking does not imply that any creator endorses the course or us. If you are a creator and would prefer we not link to your video, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the course is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or of any third-party tool it describes.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Canadian province or territory in which Enrique Rivas Creel is based, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
